90 Day Fiancé's Anfisa Nava Pursues Bodybuilding while Husband is in Prison

PEOPLE: Anfisa Nava has completely transformed her body.

The 90 Day Fiancé alum, who appeared on season 4 of the TLC docu-series, recently revealed that she’s committing herself to her fitness as her husband spends the next two and a half years in prison — and the hard work is certainly paying off.

Anfisa shared before-and-after photos of herself on Instagram to show off the impressive results.

In December, Anfisa addressed her husband Jorge Nava’s sentencing for the first time, admitting that it’s “been very hard” on her. “It has been very hard on me because Jorge and I are not just husband and wife but we are truly best friends,” she wrote. “We used to share everything with each other and since we aren’t together physically now and only get to talk to each other once a day it feels like a big part of me was taken away.”

Anfisa said deciding to speak out about the emotional toll of his imprisonment was a difficult decision, as she’s not used to showing her softer side to the public.

“I don’t like to show my emotions to the public, especially if I believe that it will make me look weak and pathetic. It’s just the way I am — I’d rather be thought of as a ‘cold-hearted bitch than a ‘crybaby,’ ” she explained.

But now that she’s being forced to adjust to life on her own, Anfisa has turned her passion for exercise into a stress-reliever.

“To fill the void that I felt after Jorge was sentenced and I was left on my own I decided to try to stay busy and do what I enjoy the most and it was working out,” she wrote. “And ONE DAY I want to take it on a higher level and compete in NPC bikini division.”

26 year old Natalia Kuznetsova, a female bodybuilder from Chita, Russia has taken the female muscle world by storm. Kuznetsova started body building when she was 14 years old and 88 pounds. She shared this photo on Instagram showing her insane transformation after 12 years of training.

Natalia has championship titles in bench press and deadlifting and is returning to competitive bodybuilding after a 18 month hiatus.

Valerie Gangi began her career as the city of San Jose and the California State Body Building Champion. Winning her status as a professional athlete in 1995 at the USA Body Building Championships, she climbed the competition ladder all the way to the Ms. Olympia stage in 1997. She then took eleven years off from competition to be a family woman.

In 2008, Valerie re-engaged in the IFBB as a Professional Figure Competitor and model.
