This year alone, Garcia has shepherded global box office hits like “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw” and the groundbreaking television series “The Titan Games.” High-profile projects currently in the pipeline include “Jumanji: The Next Level,” “Jungle Cruise” and a remake of “Big Trouble In Little China.” Her “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle,” released in 2017, is the highest-grossing film in Sony Pictures’ storied history.

But Garcia’s life doesn’t start and finish on red carpets and in Hollywood boardrooms. In 2014, she earned her designation as a professional bodybuilder. She has spent the last nine months training and preparing to compete in the Rising Phoenix Wings of Strength women's pro national qualifier, which runs on September 7. A win would earn her the opportunity to compete in the 2020 Olympia, which she calls “the Super Bowl of bodybuilding around the world.”

In the final weeks leading up to her competition, Garcia has been hyper-focused — eating seven carefully planned meals a day as she works to lower her body fat to performance level. Each day also includes three cardio workouts, a meticulous two-hour training session in the gym and multiple posing practice sessions along with massage, chiropractic adjustments, infrared saunas, stretching, meditation — and naps.
