Iron SirensIron Sirens in Pittsburgh!
Adela Garcia and Sonia Gonzales are used to taking center stage at IFBB Fitness and Bikini competitions. In two weeks, they will be in the limelight in an all together different arena – the Pittsburgh Comicon Convention. Appearing as their alter-egos from the comic book Iron Sirens, Garcia and Gonzales will be at the Pittsburgh Comicon for three days – April 20-22.

Masha TiekenMascha Tieken returns to stage in WPD
Dutch IFBB Pro Mascha Tieken will be returning to the stage, not in figure, but physique. She hasn't competed since 2009 (photo is of her at the 2009 IFBB Atlantic City Pro Figure). She'll be competing along with at least 15 other women in Physique at the IFBB Grand Prix-Los Angeles April 14th

In my mid-20’s, I had a bad self-image. Women’s bodybuilding was in its early stages and I decided to train with weights to get into shape. Soon after, sculpting my body with weights turned into one of my passions. I went from training in my basement, to being the one of the first women to join a men’s gym, to becoming the Michigan State representative for the American Federation of Women’s bodybuilding, judging contests from town to town.

March Madness, IFBB-style moved to the West Coast this weekend, with the inaugural California Governor’s Cup Pro Figure Women’s Physique and Men’s Physique Championships storming the state capital, Sacramento. Figure first. With 18 game quarter-turners onstage at the Crest Theater, the Governor’s Cup was the largest figure bash of the season so far. The perfect setting for Heather Dees, the latest hot thing gliding up the pro-figure ladder, to get her first pro win in.
